Well our dear friend Joe Ingoldsby is moving to Provincetown in a few weeks.   After a brilliant 20 plus years career in event planning/catering at one of the most sought after event planners in NYC, Joe is finally making the move to Ptown.   Joe has joined the staff at the Brass Key and will be doing their events all summer long; in fact all year long.   That said, Joe’s week July 18-25 is now available.   Contact us at info@westvillecottage.com for details and rates.  Congratulations Joe!

Westville Cottage launches vacation packages

April 18, 2009

The Westville Cottage launches packages! Dominic Carew and Paul Nye owners of the Westville Cottage, Provincetown (a luxury vacation rental) take their luxury vacation rental to the next level. Now you can stay the week at this luxury vacation rental nestled in the heart of the West End and add on a package to make your vacation extra, extra special. The packages are practical and fun geared to give you the best of Provincetown with cost saving benefits in mind. Our packages typically attract folks seeking Anniversary/Romantic themes to Single Guy/Gal and even a special for your four legged pooch too. Package specials up until now have only been done through hotels, Inns and B&Bs and has never tried before at vacation rentals. These gents are clearly good at what they do, says John Osenthal of the New York Times Travel, they like to stay ahead of the curve, so when it comes to creating an atmosphere of rest and relaxation and a top notch experience, these boys know how to ring that bell. “This was not too much of a big deal, it’s a no brainier,” says Dominic. If there is a market for it, we’ll do it. Our guests are hooked and they are back for more of the Westville year after year. While the Westville is an intimate space, it touts all the modern amenities both inside and outside to create the perfect little getaway in Provincetown. In a recent interview with the couple, they mention brainstorming different ways to keep their vacation rental unique, ways to set them apart from the many others competing within the market they toyed with the idea, but had not had anyone requesting such. However, one evening back in the spring of 2008 that all changed, we received a telephone call from a woman who heard about us through a friend. The couple mentioned that they are in love with Provincetown and that it was their anniversary and that they could not think of a better place to celebrate. Is there anything going on? What can we do in June? Who’s open? As her list of questions came, the light bulbs got brighter and at that moment, the perfect solution was born. Humm, so she needs a concierge service? Well how about if I put something together and get back to you with it. I got off the phone made some calls to some friends around, I knew that whatever I came back with had to be inexpensive and had to be saturated in romance.

Dinner, wine, glassware, spa services and some fun stuff and voila; the first package was born.

Who are our guests……Our guests are regular people they enjoy the finer things in life. They love Provincetown, love to entertain, throw a dinner party or a cocktail hour, but at the end of the day, because we are a space manicured just for two, we offer couples or a single person the ability to entertain within their own space and at the end of the day enjoy the privacy of no one else sharing, no one elses shoes or clothes on the floor to trip over.

Our packages are becoming very popular with almost every booking as guests want to save money. All our packages are geared to saving our guests some money. We don’t make any money with these, the saving we get we simply pass on to our guests, says Paul. Our guests enjoy the fact that it is all done for them and the prices are reasonable. Our packages start at $100 up to $399.00

Here is what Marsha and Jack had to say about their experience at the Westville Cottage……Marsha and Jack bought the Anniversary package.

Dear Dominic & Paul:

Jack and I are settled into our Sunday routine with our coffee and NY times with the additional thoughts of our lovely anniversary getaway at your Westville Cottage. Thank you for making this experience so unforgettable. The amazing Red box with the delicious wine, beautiful wine glasses, coffee and chocolate packets even the biscotti’s….Wow.  The flowers were extra special, roses and orchids, still fresh today. We spent a lovely lazy day in Provincetown Friday followed by the best meal we ever had in P-town at the Red Inn Restaurant . You guys were right! We thank you for the gift certificate that prompted us to try this restaurant. Though the weekend was shortened by necessity and Jack continued to feel such sadness (with the loss of his close relative), we found your lovely safe retreat a healing time for us. Thank you so very much for that!

Yours Sincerely,

Marsha and Jack, Hartford Connecticut
